Uibm at Trade fairs

Throughout 2025, the DGPI-UIBM continued to participate in the leading trade fairs across the country, in line with the supply chains targeted by MIMIT's strategic objectives.

4 trade fairs hosted an UIBM information stand, where participants were provided with information and in-depth guidance on the protection of Industrial Property rights and the fight against counterfeiting, reaching a total of 161 visitors.

In Turin, during the "A&T Automation & Testing" trade fair, held from 12 to 14 February 2025, UIBM's activities were carried out in collaboration with the PIP and PatLib Centre of Turin, which has a long-standing focus on the value of IP as a strategic asset for businesses, particularly in the innovation and technology sector. A workshop was also held during the fair, dedicated to the opportunities and public services available for the promotion and protection of IP.

From 11 to 13 April 2025, for the first time, UIBMinFIERA turned its attention to the para-pharmaceutical sector, participating in the "Cosmofarma" trade fair in Bologna. In collaboration with the Industrial Property Centre of Bologna, businesses were able to experience, directly at the stand, the local services dedicated to protection through the registration of IP titles and the opportunities offered by the available financial measures.

At the "Salone Nautico" at the Arsenale in Venice, held from 28 May to 2 June 2025, UIBM dedicated its services to Venetian businesses in the sector, also engaging the IP centres present in the territory. A workshop was also held presenting the activities of the PatLib Centre of Vicenza and Belluno, along with a focus on the initiatives of the UIBM’s Anti-Counterfeiting Direct Line (LAC).

Of particular interest during the "New Space Economy NSE 25" trade fair, held from 10 to 12 December 2025 at the exhibition venues in Rome, was the engagement with a very young audience of spin-offs and start-ups interested in the incentive measures available for IP protection. During the event, a joint AEFI-UIBM seminar was also held, featuring contributions from ASI and AIAD, and providing a detailed illustration of the importance of patenting within the space economy.
