Trend of applications – 2020-2024

Since 2020, when the Special Register of Historical Trademarks of National Interest was first set up, a total of 953 applications have been submitted. Of these, 182 were filed in 2024, a number in line with the previous year. These applications can only be submitted online.
Outcome of the procedures in 2024
During 2024, 155 acceptance orders were issued relating to applications for the registration of historical trademarks, confirming the high level of attention paid to the protection and recognition of the traditional heritage of excellence generated by Italian companies.
