Designs+ 2024

Of the over 700 applications submitted during the two-day application window that closed on 13 November 2024 for the Designs+ 2024 [Disegni+ 2024] call for applications, 213 applications were admitted to funding, following the technical and administrative assessment carried out during 2025. The grants awarded reached an overall total of over 9 million euros, highlighting the significant impact of the measure in supporting investments in Industrial Property and contributing to strengthening the competitiveness of the national production system.

The distribution across the different geographical macro-areas of applications admitted to funding is balanced, with a slight prevalence of the North-West, which accounts for the highest share (29.1%). This is followed by the North-East and Central areas, both recording an identical percentage (26.3%), indicating a substantially similar weight of these two areas in the overall total. Applications admitted from the South and Islands account for a more limited share (18.3%), making it the least represented area.

An analysis of the sectors to which the applications admitted to funding relate reveals an uneven distribution across the three economic sectors represented. The "Industry" sector records the highest value (133), proving markedly prevalent over the other segments. The "Services" sector, with 57 applications, occupies an intermediate position, reaching less than half the number of admitted applications compared to the industrial sector. Finally, "Trade" presents the lowest value (23), highlighting a more marginal presence relative to the other two sectors.
