The geographical area from which the highest number of grant applications was received is Central Italy, which accounts for 33.8% of the total. This is followed by the North-West, at 24.6%, representing almost one quarter of the total — while remaining some distance behind the Central area figure, it nonetheless shows a significant incidence, higher than that of the remaining areas. The North-East contributes 21.5%, followed by the South and Islands at 20%, with a more marked gap from the Central area of over 13 percentage points.
Regarding the sectors to which the incentive applications relate, a strong concentration is observed across a limited number of segments, with a clear prevalence of the wine sector (21), followed by agri-food (16) and services (15). These three areas account for the largest share of the total. At a significant distance lies trade (5), which shows a more limited presence compared to the leading sectors. All other segments are represented with considerably lower values.
